konami has been going through a nostaligic phase as of late. they’ve already released contra rebirth on the virtual console for the wii and plan to release a new rocket knight adventures for the xbln and psn. now after the rumor mill spread news of a castlevania rebirth, we get news that on october 27th, the wii virtual console will get this game. i love the castlevania series and to play a classic 2d version with shiny new sprite graphics just gets me all excited in that “i shouldn’t be turned on by this” way. and for 1000 wii points, you can join in on the excitement when castlevania rebirth hits towards the end of october.
